We also offer the convenience of payment plans for approved patients. Please enquire about this option prior to your next dental appointment.
Electronic Funds Transfer

Please add your code and phone number when paying through bank transfer to ensure that your payment is taken off of your account.
Your code is the first 4 letters of your last name and the first letter of your first name, sometimes followed by a number. This code is located on the right hand side of your invoice underneath the address, above our ABN number.
Health Funds
HICAPS private health fund claiming is available:
Please remember to bring your health fund card to your dental appointment. Present your card to our helpful reception staff at the end of your appointment. It only takes a few minutes to swipe your card, register your health fund provider and claim your benefit.
You will be asked to pay your ‘gap payment’ — which is the difference between our fee and what your health fund pays.
HCF’s ‘More For Teeth’ Program
Goolwa Dental Surgery are participating in HCF’s ‘More For Teeth’ Program.
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU: If your private health cover is with HCF and includes dental, then you are entitled to gap free preventative dental treatments including exams, removal of plaque and or stain, removal of calculus and xrays, and mouthguards up to twice yearly. You are also entitled to one fluoride treatment per year. THIS MEANS YOU CAN HAVE 6 MONTHLY CHECKUPS AND CLEANS WITH NO GAP PAYMENT – Now there’s something to smile about.
CBHS ‘Dental Choice Network’
We are also proud to announce that we are a part of the CBHS ‘Dental Choice Network’.
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU: If your dental cover is with CBHS you are entitled to gap free or low gap Preventative Dental Treatment with us. Depending on your level of cover you can have exams, removal of plaque, stain and calculus, application of tooth remineralizing treatment, Oral hygiene instructions, mouthguards and xrays with no or minimal gap. Even on their lowest level of cover you are entitled to one gap free exam and clean per year, higher coverage entitles you to unlimited preventative dental treatments! We’re excited and we hope you will be too.

Medicare Child Dental Benefit Schedule
If you receive a letter from Medicare saying that your child may be eligible for dental treatment under the new Medicare scheme, get in touch with Goolwa Dental Surgery to book your child’s dental appointment. We can check their CDBS eligibility and entitlement for you.
This program covers eligible children aged between 2 and 17 years; they may receive up to $1013.00 of dental treatment including preventative treatment, necessary dental care like restorations, x-rays, cleaning and fluoride treatments.
Please note that orthodontic, mouthguards and cosmetic treatment are NOT available under this scheme and no payment is available for treatment provided in a hospital.
This scheme is means tested so not all children are entitled but many will be.
